The name Pallò comes from a dialect word referring to a flat place used for the game of bowls: pallaio. Pallò is also the name of one of the four districts that every year, in accordance with the Grape Festival celebrations, parade through the streets of the village and present their allegorical chariot, the last weekend of September.
