This stylish statuette, a work of art of unprecedented character, is a realistic depiction of a sea bream. Perfectly complementing a modern seaside home or boat, it is skillfully handcrafted from beachwood and masterfully hand-decorated.
Among the most popular and longest-known edible fish is the king bream, also called sea bream or golden bream (Sparus aurata, English Seabream), which the ancient Greeks dedicated to the goddess of love, Aphrodite. They belong to the typical Mediterranean fish, although they live in a large area stretching from the British Isles through the Mediterranean Sea to the Cape Verde Islands. Trawls and rods are most often used when fishing with perch. Most wild specimens are caught in Greece, Turkey, Italy and North Africa.
