Poggi Ugo

Poggi Ugo has a rich history dating back to 1919, when Tommaso Tobia Poggi purchased a site in Impruneta that had one of the largest and oldest kilns in the area in Italy. Soon after, his sons Augusto and Ugo joined him and the company began to produce a wide range of products, including bricks, roof tiles, bowls, jars and outdoor decorations.

During the 1940s, Poggi Ugo began to expand and export its products to countries such as Germany, Switzerland and the United States of America. In 1982, daughters Uga, Licia and Liliana took over the management of the company and renamed it after their father. Since then, Poggi Ugo has become a leading manufacturer of terracotta products.

What is remarkable is the fact that Poggi Ugo pioneered the creation of modern and contemporary decors with the exclusive use of terracotta. The company was able to combine tradition and know-how with innovative design to create unique and stylish products. Thanks to her approach, she has become a leading name in the industry and has gained recognition both domestically and internationally.

Poggi Ugo is still a family company, now managed by the fourth generation. Their passion and dedication to quality and innovation continues, both in the production of traditional terracotta products and in the development of new designs and trends. Poggi Ugo maintains a strong position in the industry and continues to expand its influence as one of the leading authorities in the world of terracotta products.
