Terracotta Jars for wine and beer
Terracotta Jars from Italy of various shapes with a volume of 400 to 800 liters can be used for storing wine and beer. V currently they are mainly used for storing organic wines and domestic organic beer.
 
Terracotta wine and beer jars from Impruneta respect the oldest traditions and are imposing and monumental. In ancient times, barrels were used for storing oil, wine, wheat and cereals, but then over time, with the advent of new materials, they became purely decorative objects. Today we are rediscovering the traditional manufacture of these barrels and their use for wine storage. The low edge traditionally served as a handle for moving and lifting the container, while the bands located in the middle served to easily roll without the risk of breakage. Ancient casks always had very worn bands.

- Each cap is equipped with an air chamber, a pump and a pressure gauge for pressure regulation.

Properties:
- The double inner layer of terracotta guarantees a perfect internal smoothing that closes the natural pores of the earth, thus facilitating cleaning and improving the oxygenation of the wine, excluding oxidation and contamination phenomena.
- Terracotta Impruneta is insulating and therefore protects the wine from dangerous temperature changes.
- Unlike wood, it does not transfer any flavor to the wine.
- Retractable self-closing cap made entirely of terracotta with gasket and inner tube. Made with a double bottom to support the rubber seal, which together with the air chamber and silicone cap opening ensures the creation of the "headroom" necessary for proper wine maturation. OUR CAPS DO NOT INCLUDE THE USE OF RESINS. Complete absence of steel and resins in contact with wine. In addition, the double terracotta lid with an air chamber and without a kettle innovates the industry of closure systems applied to all processing tools used for products of agricultural origin and other than wine. The new lid creates an optimal vacuum with more realistic refinement parameters.
