The Burgundy leaf collection is inspired by the master of Modran majolica, Heřman Landsfeld (*1899 †1986) and his extensive sample books, which the archaeologist redrawn as a hobby from excavations of ceramics from Western Slovakia and nearby Moravia.
 
The curator of SNM - Museum of Slovak Ceramic Sculpture Agáta Petrakovičová Šikulová collaborated on the collection.
 
Modran majolica is part of the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia.
